“IRAQI PEOPLE MAY HAVE BEEN CHOSEN BY ALLAH TO SUFFER TO AWAKEN YOU SLEEPING GIANTS. ALLAH MAY HAVE CHOSEN ONE MAN SADDAM HUSSEIN TO DEFY THE POWERS THAT YOU BOW DOWN TO, TO SHOW YOU THAT THEY WOULD RATHER BE DEAD THAN HAVE TO PUT-UP TO AMERICA CRAWLING AND BEGGING” - LUIS FARRAKHAN

STATEMENT BY INT’L AFFAIRS SECRETARY OF KHELAFAT ANDOLON

“While Faithful Believers around the world are searching for opportunities to join the valiant forces of Saddam Hussein and sacrifice their lives in the Way of Allah, the degenerated Faithless coward ruling elites of Muslims countries in the middle-east and around the world are sitting folded-hand shivering in fear and timidly watching Anglo-American aggression against Iraq, and may be looking for opportunities to bow down to Bush. In this situation I find it very much appropriate to quote Minister Luis Farrakhan, the leader of the American Muslims, ‘Iraqi people may have been chosen by Allah to suffer to awaken you sleeping giants. Allah may have chosen one man Saddam Hussein to defy the powers that you bow down to. To show you that they would rather be dead than have to put-up to America crawling and begging’.

On February 6-7, 1998, Minister Farrakhan was in Dhaka, and I had the opportunity to be his host in a party of distinguished people of Dhaka including the then Attorney General Barrister K.S. Nabi, renowned intellectual Late Ahmed Safa, Chairman of the Department of Law of Dhaka University Prof. Dr. Maimul Ahsan Khan, Mr. Obeid Jaigirdar, diplomats of Palestine, Iraq & Libya, leaders of Khelafat Andolon, Khelafat Majlish & Islami Shashantantra Andolon. Farrakhan in his address, in presence of the distinguished personalities, said :-

‘President Nixon was impeached and rehabilitated. Then he wrote a book called THE REAL WAR. And in this book he said, the enemy of democracy is not communism. The real enemy of democracy is fundamentalist Islam.

‘.. If America and her president sees Islam as an enemy and opposes Islam, then they are not just in opposition to Islam, they are in opposition to the Will of Allah, and nothing and no one can oppose God and win. ..

‘.. The West does not want Arab-African unity. The West does not want Muslim unity. If they don’t want, and Allah has ordered, why don’t we obey Allah? And what is the consequence of our disobedience to the Commands of God? Do you think that you will not pay a price for disobeying God when you have the Holy Quran in your hand? .. We act like people who have no sense. We have given over our power to the United Nations. Who is the United Nations that they should dictate to us when the Quran has already dictated to the Muslims how Muslims should act?

‘... We are pawns because we want friendship with the superpowers rather than friendship with the Only Power and that is Allah. But how many of us really believe that Allah is really God? ... We say, yes Allah is God but we have no money. Who holds the treasures of the Heaven and the Earth? If Allah is the Owner, why not bow down to Allah and then seek what you need from Him rather than crawl on knees to the powers of the world begging for what you could get for yourself if you were a United Ummah. ... I know that Islam is the Superpower potentially in the next century (i.e. the current 21st Century, the speech was made in the last century in 1998). But we now got to do something now to make that a reality.

‘Allah is not going to change our condition until we make a change of ourselves. Allah didn’t setup Egypt. Allah didn’t setup Saudi Arabia. Allah didn’t setup Kuwait, United Arab Emirates. Allah didn’t setup Sudan. Allah didn’t setup Morocco, Libya, or all of your national boundaries. That’s your doing. Allah didn’t setup Shiia. Allah didn’t setup Sunni. Allah didn’t setup Hanbali, Hanafi. This is our doing. Till our Muhammad (Sm) was a Muslim and there was no division among us until after he was gone. Then we setup our religion into sects and parties each glorifying in their little path. And Shaitan is happy... because the Ummah is divided.... I am not saying that I am a better Muslim than any body else. But brothers, sisters, I refused to bow down. The Jews want me to come on bended knees... The Congress of the United States threatened me. They said, Farrakhan, you have gone to this rogue nation, we are going to call you before the Congress. I said, don’t threat me, do it. Do it. ‘... When you have Allah, you got it all. They talk about us as the minority. How can we be minority in union with God. I am the Majority, and so we are. ..

‘... If I have hurt anybody’s feelings, I hope you will forgive me. That’s not my intention. My intention is to put on your conscience the fact that we have got to be better than what we are, in order for Allah to give us the Benefit of what He Promised us. And I pray to Allah in the name of His servant Muhammad (Sm) for the great nation of Iraq. ... The Iraqi people may have been chosen by Allah to suffer to awaken you sleeping giants. Allah may have chosen one man Saddam Hussein to defy the powers that you bow down to, to show you that they would rather be dead that have to put-up to America crawling and begging. That is something worth dying.. May be Allah wants us turn the world and is using Iraq to turn the world down. I want you to know that God is real. His Power is real. He has kept America as a preserved area for Himself. ... God wants that for Himself. Just as He used tempest to bring Pharaoh down, He has the same in Mind for America. You keep watching. No outside forces can harm her. Her’s will come from God if she does not bow down. And it is my job to worn her that she is at the end even though she looks like she will be here forever. I am telling you, she is at her death bed, bet she doesn’t know it, neither do you. But when Allah avenges His Commands to pass on America, all of you will bow down. Because, you are bowing down now to that which has no power, but when Allah uses His Power on America as He is destined to do, all of us will bow down. Surely in the shock of the hour when you see it is grievous thing, you will see men drunken but they will not be drunken, but the chastisement of Allah will be severe. These are just not words. You are going to see these in the next few years, by the help of Allah.’

During 1998 we distributed among the diplomatic missions in Dhaka the video and audio cassettes of Farrakhan’s above speech. Meanwhile, the Twin Towers were destroyed, we believe, by the Curses of God to Warn the Americans. But the US Administration is run by senseless arrogant unbelievers and they were unable to grasp the Warning of God. Rather they exploited it as a ploy to commit further crime against the divine people in Afghanistan. We have no doubt that the US Administration is hurrying towards her own extinction. US is at her death bed and her neck, backbone and loins are breaking down and she will lose her ability to remain standing. She will have no option but to kneel down. Those who fear her and worship her as a superpower, shall face extinction. Any ruling elite that want to survive have no option but to be under the leadership of Saddam Hussein who has earned a divine leadership by his Faith and allegiance to Allah.”

২০০৪ সনে বাংলাদেশ খেলাফত আন্দোলনের প্রেসকনফারেন্সে আমীরে শরীয়ত ক্বারী শাহ আহমদুল্লাহ আশ্রাফ ইবনে হাফেজ্জী হুজুরের বিবৃতিঃ-

পরম দয়ালু ও করুণাময় আল্লাহর নামে শুরু করছি

খেলাফত আন্দোলনের আজকের এই সাংবাদিক সম্মেলনে উপস্থিত সাংবাদিক ভাইদের প্রতি সালাম ও শুভেচ্ছা। 

যে পরিস্থিতিতে, যে প্রেক্ষাপটে, যে উদ্দেশ্যে খেলাফত আন্দোলনের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা হযরত মওলানা মোহাম্মদুল্লাহ হাফেজ্জী হুজুর রহমতুল্লাহ আলাইহী প্রত্যক্ষ রাজনীতিতে পদার্পন করেন, তা আজ স্মরন করা প্রয়োজন বোধ করছি।

১৯৮১ সনে হযরত মওলানা মোহাম্মদুল্লাহ হাফেজ্জী হুজুর রহমতুল্লাহ আলাইহী প্রত্যক্ষ রাজনীতিতে পদার্পনের সিদ্ধান্ত একটি ১৬ পৃষ্ঠার পুস্তিকার মারফৎ দেশবাসীর নিকট উপস্থাপন করেছিলেন। উক্ত পুস্তিকায় তিনি পথভ্রষ্ট মুসলিম শাসকদের বিরুদ্ধে তাঁর রাজনীতিকে “জ্বিহাদ” হিসাবে অভিহিত করেন এবং বলেনঃ-

“নবী তনয় হযরত হোসাইন (রাঃ) এ জ্বিহাদের সূচনা করেন। কতক সহকর্মীর বাধা প্রদান সত্বেও তিনি ইয়াযিদের ধর্মদ্রোহী সরকারের বিরুদ্ধে জ্বিহাদ ঘোষণা করেন। এমন কি অবশেষে কারবালা প্রান্তরে তাঁরা শাহাদত বরন করেন” (পৃষ্ঠা ২-৩)। “এ জ্বিহাদ আমরা করেই যাব, তাতে শেষ পর্যন্ত যদি শাহাদত নছীব হয়, তবে তো পরম সৌভাগ্য, চরম কাম্য।.......দুনিয়ায় আমাদের হার (বা পরাজয়) হলেও পরকালে আমাদের জন্য রয়েছে হার (বা মণি-মুক্তা অলংকার); আর দুর্নীতিবাজদের জিত তাদের করবে চিত, তাদের জয় ডেকে আনবে ক্ষয়। আমি একথাও বলতে চাই যে বর্তমান নির্বাচন পদ্ধতি ইংরেজদের প্রবর্তিত পদ্ধতি। এটা নির্ভুল ও সঠিক নয়, যোগ্য লোকের ক্ষমতায় আসা এতে একপ্রকার অসম্ভব। কোটি কোটি টাকা ব্যায় করে নির্বাচনে জেতা হচ্ছে। ... এ পদ্ধতি বর্জনীয়। দুর্নীতিমুক্তভাবে দেশের বিচক্ষণ বুদ্ধিজীবি, যথার্থ সমাজসেবী ব্যক্তিবর্গের নির্বাচিত হওয়ার সুযোগ সৃষ্টি করার উদ্দেশ্যে নির্বাচন পদ্ধতির গলদ দুর করাও আমার অন্যতম লক্ষ্য। তবুও আন্দোলনের পদক্ষেপ হিসাবে আমরা বর্তমান পদ্ধতিতে নির্বাচনে অংশগ্রহন করছি। ... গদী আমার কাম্য নয়, তবে যদি আল্লাহ পাক আমাকে বিজয়ী করেন তা’ হলে এমন লোককে শাসন পরিচালনায় বসাতে চেষ্টা করবো, যারা দেশে ইসলামী বিধান জারী করবে - দেশের মানুষের সুখ-সুবিধা, শান্তি-নিরাপত্তাকে ব্যক্তি ও দলীয় স্বার্থের উপর প্রাধান্য দেবে” (পৃঃ ১২-১৩)। “আমাদের আন্দোলন ক্ষণস্থায়ী নয়, আজীবন তা চলতে থাকবে। ইহকালের বিজয় কামিয়াবীর মাপকাঠি নয়......বাহ্যিক সফলতা লাভ করতে পারলে ইসলামী হুকুমত জারী হবে। দেশ ও জাতির নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিত হবে। আল্লাহ রাব্বুল আলামীনের কাছে আমাদের প্রার্থনা - আমাদের এ আন্দোলনের মুজাহিদগণকে ইমাম মাহদী আলাইহেস সালামের বাহিনীর সৈনিকরূপে কবুল করুন” (পৃঃ-১৬)। (জাতির ক্রান্তি লগ্নে রাজনীতিতে পদার্পন ও নির্বাচনে অংশগ্রহনের সিদ্ধান্ত সম্পর্কে দেশবাসীর কাছে হযরত মওলানা মোহাম্মদুলÍাহ হাফেজ্জী হুজুরের বক্তব্য । ১৯৮১ ইং)

বাংলাদেশ খেলাফত আন্দোলনের গঠনতন্ত্রের ১ম পরিচ্ছদে বলা হয়েছে:-

“হাফেজ্জী হুজুর (রঃ)এর বক্তব্যের আলোকেই আমরা তাঁর সৃষ্ট ইসলামী গণজোয়ারকে “খেলাফত আন্দোলনের” কাঠামোয় ধরে রাখতে চাই আর পৌঁছে দিতে চাই খেলাফত আলা মিন হাজিন নবুয়তের লক্ষ্যে। এ কারণেই এ আন্দোলনের রূপরেখা খোলাফায়ে রাশেদীনের কাল থেকে নিতে চাই, ‘ওমারায়ে দাল্লীনের’ (ভ্রান্ত শাসকবর্গের) কাল থেকে নয়। তাই আমরা সচেতনভাবেই ইসলামী রাষ্ট্র না বলে ‘খেলাফত আলা মিন হাজিন নবুয়ত’ বলছি, আর তার জন্য ‘সংগ্রাম’ না করে ‘জ্বিহাদে’ নেমেছি। তেমনি আমরা ‘পার্টি’ না করে ‘আন্দোলন’ চালাচ্ছি, আর কোন শ্রেনী বা সম্প্রদায়কে না ডেকে গোটা মানব মন্ডলীকে ডাকছি।”

বর্তমানে মুসলমান দেশ সমূহের নেতৃত্বদানকারীরা নিজেরাই অসৎ কাজে লিপ্ত থাকায়, মানবজাতিকে সৎ কাজের আদেশ ও অসৎ কাজের কাজের নিষেধ করার যে উত্বরাধিকারিত্ব আল্লাহপাক মুসলমানদেরকে দিয়েছিলেন তার হক সঠিকভাবে আদায় হচ্ছে না। আরবীতে একটি প্রবাদ আছে “আন্নাছু আলা দ্বীনে মুলুকিহি” অর্থাৎ জনসাধারণ তাদের শাসকদের স্বভাব-চরিত্রেরই অনুসারী হয়।

বড়ই দুঃখের বিষয়, আমাদের এই বাংলাদেশের নেতৃত্বও ঘুরে ফিরে বার বারই অসৎ লোকেদের করায়ত্ব হওয়ায় জনসাধারণের মধ্যেও অসৎ প্রবনতা সংক্রামক ব্যাধির মত ছড়িয়ে পড়ছে - ফলে ন্যায় পরায়ন ও নিরীহ লোকেরা হতবল হয়ে পড়েছে।

বর্তমানে সারা পৃথিবীতে জাহেলিয়াতের অন্ধকার যুগ চলছে। কাফির ও মুশরিকরা তাদের মনগড়া মতবাদ চালু করে তাতে জনসাধারণের প্রত্যয় গড়ে তুলে দেশে দেশে তাদের দালাল দুরাচারী তাগুতি শক্তি সংগঠিত করেছে। ইউরোপ-আমেরিকার ধড়িবাজ কাফির-মুশরিকরা আড়াইশ’ বছর পূর্বে দুনিয়া শোষণের যে নীল নকশা তৈরী করেছিল, তা এখন ষোলকলায় পূর্ণ হয়েছে। ধর্মীয় নৈতিকতার উপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত সমাজ ভেঙ্গে গেছে। সূদ ও ব্যাভীচারের বিশ্বায়ন ঘটেছে। পার্থিব স্বার্থ ছাড়া একে অপরকে সহায়তা করার প্রেরণা তিরহিত হয়েছে। নানাভাবে ব্যাভিচারকে সহজ করা হচ্ছে এবং বিবাহ-তালাককে দুরুহ করা হচ্ছে। ফলে পরিবার প্রথা ভেঙ্গে পড়ছে। নারীকে তার মাতৃত্ব ও গৃহাভ্যন্তরের অভিভাবকত্বের সম্মান ও অধিকার থেকে বঞ্চীত করে তাকে নিষ্ঠুরভাবে অশ্লীল ভোগ্যপণ্যে রুপান্তরীত করা হচ্ছে। ব্যাক্তি স্বাধীণতা ও সিভিল রাইটের শাসনতান্ত্রিক রক্ষাকবচের অধীনে সেক্স ইন্ডাস্ট্রি নামক নরক রাজ্য ইউরোপ-আমেরিকা গড়ে তুলেছে এবং এখন তা তারা এশিয়া আফ্রিকায় বিস্তৃত করার কোশেশ করছে। সেক্স ইন্ডাস্ট্রির এইসব নরক রাজ্যে এশিয়া, আফ্রিকা, পূর্ব ইউরোপ ও লেটিন আমেরিকার মেয়ে ও শিশু কন্যাদেরকে পাচার করা হচ্ছে। এসব নরকরাজ্যে বন্ডেড-সেক্স, গ্যাং-সেক্স, টিন-সেক্স, ডবল-পেনিট্রেশন, ট্রিপল-পেনিট্রেশন, ওরাল সেক্স, ফেশিয়ালস ইত্যকার অকল্পনীয় অস্বাভাবিক দানবীয় নিষ্ঠুরতা ও জুলুম নারীর উপর সংগঠিতভাবে পরিচালিত হচ্ছে। হলিউডের আদর্শ অনুসরন করে বিশ্বব্যাপী ফিল্ম ইন্ডাস্ট্রি নিত্য নতুন বিভৎস দানবীয় নিষ্ঠুরতা প্রচার করছে। আর এসবই করা হচ্ছে তথাকথিত গনতন্ত্রের ব্যাক্তি স্বাধীণতা ও সিভিল রাইটের শাসনতান্ত্রিক অধিকারের নীরাপদ বেষ্টনীর মধ্যে। সীমাহীন লোভ-লালসা ও প্রবৃত্তিপরায়ণতার সয়লাবে আজ মনুষ্যত্ব ও সভ্যতা ভুলুন্ঠিত।

ধণতান্ত্রিক গনতন্ত্রের সাহায্যে বিশ্বব্যাপী সূদী কারবারের রক্তচোষা নেটওয়ার্ক বিস্তৃত ও নীরাপদ করা হচ্ছে। এন.জি.ও. এবং মাইক্রো ক্রেডিটের মাধ্যমে নিস্বঃ জনগোষ্ঠির মধ্যে ৩০-৪০% সূদে টাকা খাটানো হচ্ছে। সূদখোররা মানবতার চরম শত্র“ হয়েও প্রতারণা করে মানবাধিকারের ব্যবসায়ী প্রবক্তা সেজেছে। আধুণিক সুদী ব্যাবসার আরেক হাতিয়ার ক্রেডিট কার্ডের দ্বারা আয়ের চাইতে অধিক ব্যায়ে প্ররোচিত করে মানুষকে জিম্মী ও মানসিক রুগীতে পরিণত করা হচ্ছে। চরিত্র বিদ্ধংসী উপায় সমূহ আধুণিক করে সকল অপরাধের ব্যপকতা আরো বাড়িয়ে দেয়া হচ্ছে।

এমতাবস্থায়, আমরা নির্দিধায় একথা ঘোষণা করছি যে, ইসলাম তথাকথিত গনতান্ত্রিক নয় - ইসলাম আল্লাহতান্ত্রিক, ইসলাম মোমেনতান্ত্রিক। চরম সত্য হচ্ছে, আল্লাহ ছাড়া কোন উপাস্য নাই, এক লা-শরিক আল্লাহই সকল ক্ষমতার উৎস। সার্বভৌম ক্ষমতার মালিক একমাত্র আল্লাহ তায়ালা। সমগ্র সৃষ্ট জগত, ধনসম্পদ ও রাজত্বের মালিক এক লা-শরিক আল্লাহ। বিশ্বাসী মোমেন বান্দা আল্লাহর খলীফা বা প্রতিনিধি। 

পাক ক্বোরআনে আল্লাহ তায়ালা বলেনঃ- 

“আল্লাহকে মান্য কর, নবীকে মান্য কর, তোমাদের উপর নিযুক্ত আমীরকে মান্য কর”; আমিরুল মুমেনীন বা মোমেনদের নেতাই শাসন ক্ষমতার প্রকৃত হকদার। আমিরুল মোমেনীনের অন্যতম কাজ হচ্ছে, সাধারণ মানুষের বস্তু-মুখি চিন্তাকে পরকাল-মুখী এবং নাজাত-মুখি বা মুক্তি-মুখি করা। মোমেনরা বস্তু-মুখি ব্যবস্থার মূলোৎপাটন করে সালাতের শিক্ষার মাধ্যমে মুক্তি-মুখি শাসনব্যবস্থা কায়েম করতে চান। তাই ইসলামী খেলাফত হচ্ছে মোমেনতন্ত্র। আর মোমেনতন্ত্রই হচ্ছে ইসলামী শাসনতন্ত্র ও ইসলামী খেলাফত। আমিরুল মোমেনিনের নেতৃত্বে মোমেনদের সৎকর্মে ও ত্যাগ-তিথীক্ষায় ইসলামী সমাজ প্রানবন্ত মোমেন সৃষ্টির কারখানায় রূপান্তরীত হয়। এভাবেই মোমেন সমাজ বিশ্ব নেতৃত্বের লায়েক হন। তাই আল্লাহতায়ালা পবিত্র ক্বোরআনে এরশাদ করেছেন : “তোমরাই শ্রেষ্ঠ উম্মত, মানবজাতির জন্য তোমাদের আবির্ভাব হইয়াছে; তোমরা সৎকার্যের আদেশ দান কর, অসৎকার্যে নিষেধ কর এবং আল্লাহে বিশ্বাস কর।” (৩ : ১১০)

পক্ষান্তরে, গনতন্ত্র ও সিভিল সোসাইটির প্রবক্তা ইউরোপ-আমেরিকার নাস্তিকরা এবং তাদের পদাংক অনুসারী বিভ্রান্ত বুদ্ধিজীবি ও রাজনিতিকরা সাধারণ মানুষকে ধোকা দিচ্ছে এবং মিথ্যা প্রচার করছে যে ‘জনগনই সকল ক্ষমতার উৎস’, জনগনই সার্বভৌম ক্ষমতার মালিক। অথচ বাস্তবে সকল গনতান্ত্রিক রাষ্ট্রের সাধারণ মানুষ কায়েমী-স্বার্থের হতে জিম্মী। গনতান্ত্রিক রাষ্ট্র ও সিভিল সোসাইটিতে নির্বাচন প্রকৃয়া ও মিডিয়ার সহায়তায় সমাজের নিকৃষ্ট ধুরন্ধর লোকেরাই ধণিক-বণিক-শাসক শ্রেনীতে রূপান্তরীত হয়। প্রায়শঃ দেখা যায়, ইউরোপ-আমেরিকার বিদ্যা ও কালচারে যে যত উচ্চ শিক্ষিত, যত উচ্চ পদস্থ সে তত বস্তুবাদী, ইগোস্টিক, স্বার্থপর, ভন্ড ও মনুষ্যত্বহীন। ইউরোপ-আমেরিকার সর্ব্বোচ্চ শিক্ষায় শিক্ষিত লোকেরাই আণবিক বোমা তৈরী করে তা দিয়ে জাপানের লক্ষ লক্ষ বেসামরিক নারী-পুরুষ-বৃদ্ধ-শিশু হত্যা করেছে এবং এখন মুসলমানদেরকে হত্যা করার হুমকী দিচ্ছে। গনতন্ত্র ও সিভিল সোসাইটির প্রবক্তা উচ্চ শিক্ষিত ও উচ্চ পদস্থ ব্যক্তিরা লক্ষ কোটি ভুখা নাঙ্গা মানুষের ঝুপড়ির পাশে সুরম্য প্রাসাদে বিলাসীতায় গা ঢেলে দিতে মোটেই লজ্জা বোধ করে না। এইসব লোকেরা শাসন যন্ত্রের বিভিন্ন ঘাটি দখল করে ধণিক-বণিকদের সঙ্গে যোগসাজশে সকল প্রকার অর্থনৈতিক সুবিধা লুন্ঠন করছে। ধর্ম ও নৈতিকতাকে জলাঞ্জলী দিয়ে এরা ব্যক্তিগত মুনাফা ও ইন্দ্রীয় সুখকে জীবনের লক্ষ্যে পরিণত করেছে। এরা নিজেদের জন্য ভিন্ন জীবন মান সৃষ্টি করেছে, এবং সেই জীবন মান বজায় রাখার জন্য সংখ্যাগরিষ্ঠ সাধারণ মানুষকে নিজেদের স্বার্থের যুপকাষ্ঠে বলী দিচ্ছে।

সম্ভবতঃ একারণেই স্বাধীন বাংলাদেশের স্বপ্নদ্রষ্টা মওলানা আব্দুল হামিদ খান ভাসানী (রঃ) বিলিতি শিক্ষায় শিক্ষিত আমলা ও রাজনিতিকদের লক্ষ্য করে বলতে বাধ্য হয়েছিলেনঃ- “যাহারাই দুর্নীতি দমনের নাম লইয়া ক্ষমতায় উঠিতেছে তাহারাই কিছুদিন পরে গণধিকৃত হইয়া দুর্নীতি ও ক্ষমতার অপব্যাবহারের দোষে দোষী হইয়া ক্ষমতা ছাড়িতেছে। এই নিয়ম পাকিস্তান হওয়ার পরেও চলিয়াছে, বাংলাদেশেও চলিতেছে। শয়তানী-নফসানী শক্তিধর ক্ষমতাসীন দুর্নীতিবাজদের নির্মমভাবে খতম না করা পর্যন্ত এই নিয়ম বহাল থাকিবে।”(পৃষ্ঠা-৪, মওলানা ভাসানী বলেছেন। সন্তোষ। সংকলক - সৈয়দ ইরফানুল বারী)

আমেরিকার বিশ্ব-গ্রাসী আধিপত্যবাদ ও সশস্ত্র জেহাদ প্রসঙ্গে

বর্তমান বিশ্বে একমাত্র মার্কীন যুক্তরাষ্ট্র ছাড়া আর কোন দেশের সরকার স্বাধীণভাবে সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহনের হিম্মত রাখেনা। ফলে, বর্তমান ব্যবস্থা বহাল রেখে নিছক সরকার পরিবর্তন করলে সমস্যার সমাধাণ হবে না। বাংলাদেশের বিগত সরকার মার্কীন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের সাথে সোফা-হানা চুক্তি সম্পাদন করে বাংলাদেশে মার্কীন সৈন্য নামানোর পথ উন্মুক্ত করেছিল। বর্তমান সরকার মার্কীন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের সাথে সম্প্রতি যে চুক্তি সম্পাদন করেছে তাতে বাংলাদেশের স্বরাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয় যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের গোয়েন্দাবিভাগের শাখায় পরিণত হওয়ার আশঙ্কা সৃষ্টি হয়েছে।

জাতীয় রাষ্ট্র সমূহের সরকার ও জনগন ঐক্যবদ্ধভাবে মার্কীন আধিপত্যাবাদের 

মোকাবিলা করে নিজ নিজ জাতীয় স্বাধীণতা রক্ষার সংগ্রাম সংগঠিত করতে ব্যার্থ হয়েছে - কারণ ইসলাম ও মুসলমানদেরকে প্রতিহত করার জন্য আফগানিস্তানের বৈধ তালেবান সরকারকে অন্যায়ভাবে শক্তি প্রয়োগে উৎখাতে ইউরোপের নেতৃস্থানীয় জাতীয় রাষ্ট্রগুলি সহ প্রায় সকল মুসলিম রাষ্ট্রও মার্কীন প্রশাসনকে সহায়তা করেছে। হয়তো সে কারণেই আল্লাহপাক সকল রাষ্ট্র ও জাতির স্বাধীণতার সম্মান কেড়ে নিয়েছেন। এবং আমাদের বিশ্বাস, মার্কীন প্রশাসনকে আল্লাহতায়ালা দৃষ্টান্তমূলক শাস্তি দেয়ার জন্যই তার রশিকে লম্বা করে দিয়েছেন। মার্কীন প্রশাসন আমেরিকার সীমান্ত থেকে শত শত মাইল দূরে মিথ্যা বাহানায় আফগানিস্তান ও ইরাক আক্রমণ ও দখল করে, মানুষের জান-মাল-ঈমান-ইজ্জতের উপর যে জুলুম চালাচ্ছে তার খেসারত অবশ্যই তাদেরকে দিতে হবে।

অবস্থা পরিবর্তনের জন্য, আল্লাহতায়ালার ও তাঁর রাসুল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহিচ্ছালামের অছিয়ত পুরণের জন্য, আল্লাহতায়ালার সার্বভৌমত্বের নিঃশঙ্ক স্বীকৃতি উর্দ্ধে তুলে ধরার জন্য, সারা দুনিয়ার মজলুম মানুষকে জাহেলীয়াত থেকে মুক্ত করার জন্য মোমেনরা জিহাদে সংঘবদ্ধ না হলে ঈমান নিয়ে মরা কঠিন হয়ে যাবে। তাই বাংলাদেশ খেলাফত আন্দোলন বিশ্বব্যাপী ইসলামী জাগরণকে সমর্থন করে। বিশেষ করে ফিলিস্তিন, ইরাক, আফগানিস্তান, চেনিয়া ও কাশ্মীরের মুক্তি সংগ্রামকে খেলাফত আন্দোলন জিহাদ বলে গন্য করে। তবে যতক্ষণ পর্যন্ত বাংলাদেশে মোমেনদের বাক স্বাধীণতা কেড়ে নেয়া না হচ্ছে ততক্ষণ পর্যন্ত খেলাফত আন্দোলন সশস্ত্র জিহাদে জড়িত হবে না।

ডাস্টবিনে ক্বোরআন শরীফ ফেলা এবং মেলা, সিনেমা হল ও মাজারে বোমাবাজী প্রসঙ্গে

আমরা শুনতে পাচ্ছি বাংলাদেশকে ডি-স্টাবিলাইজ করে এখানে বিদেশী সৈন্য নামানোর ষড়যন্ত্র চলছে। যারা ডা¯টবিনে ক্বোরআন শরীফ ফেলছে এবং সিনেমা হলে, মেলায়, মাজারে বোমাবাজী করছে, মাজারের খাদেমের গলা কাটছে, মাজারের পুকুরে বিষ ঢেলে দিচ্ছে - তারা খুব সম্ভবতঃ বাংলাদেশকে ডি-স্টাবিলাইজ করার ব্রিটিশ-মার্কীন ষড়যন্ত্রের ক্রিড়নক। এহেন দুষ্কর্ম ক্বাদীয়ানীদের পক্ষে করা খুবই স্বাভাবিক। এমনও হতে পারে যে, ব্রিটিশ-মার্কীন প্রশাসনই পরোক্ষভাবে মধ্যপ্রাচ্যের কোন দালাল সংস্থা, ব্যক্তি বা শাসকের মাধ্যমে এখানকার কোন বিভ্রান্ত ধর্মীয় গোষ্টিকে দিয়ে এসব অপকর্ম করাচ্ছে - মুসলমানদের মাঝে অন্তর্ঘাত সৃষ্টি করে একই সাথে একাধিক স্বার্থ উদ্ধারের জন্য। এটাও অসম্ভব নয় যে হয়তো খোদ ব্রিটিশ ইন্টেলিজেন্সই অসৎ উদ্দেশ্যে হযরত শাহজালাল (রঃ)এর মাজারে জুম্মার দিনে ব্রিটিশ হাই কমিশনারকে হত্যার জন্য প্রতিবেশী রাষ্ট্রের ইন্টেলিজেন্সকে কন্ট্রাক্ট দিয়েছিল। হয়তো তারা এক ঢিলে দুই পাখী মারতে চেয়েছিল ঃ (ক) বাঙ্গালী মুসলিম বংশোদ্ভুত উচ্চপদস্থ কর্মকর্তাটিকে চিরতরে ব্রিটিশ প্রশাসন থেকে সরিয়ে দেয়া এবং (খ) ঘটনার দায়ভার মোমেন মুসলমানদের উপর চাপিয়ে দিয়ে বাংলাদেশকে ডি-স্টাবিলাইজ করার অপচেষ্টা করা। মোমেন মুসলমানদের কেউ জ্বিহাদ বিবেচনায় কিছু করলে তাঁরা অবশ্যই তার দায়-দায়িত্বও স্বীকার করতেন।

বাংলাভাই প্রসঙ্গ

আমরা তথাকথিত “বাংলাভাই” ও তার ঘনিষ্ঠজনদের ঈমান-ইসলাম, আমল-আখলাক, স্বভাব-চরিত্র সম্পর্কে তেমন কিছু জানিনা। তবে তারা যে দেশের উত্তরাঞ্চলে প্রকৃত কিলার-সন্ত্রাসীদের বিরুদ্ধে একটি জনপ্রিয় গণ-আন্দোলনের নেতৃত্ব দিয়েছেন এটা সুস্পষ্ট। আমাদের কিছু কিছু রাজনৈতিক নেতা ও মিডিয়ার সাংবাদিক অভিযোগ করছেন যে তারা আইন হাতে তুলে নিয়েছে। যে দেশে সরকারী ও বিরোধী উভয় দলের কর্মীরাই বে-আইনী অস্ত্র রাখে ও তা ব্যবহার করে, যে দেশের থানা-পুলীশ-কোর্ট-কাচারী-সরকারী দপ্তর টাকার বিনিময়ে আইন কেনা-বেচা করে, যে দেশের সরকার সন্ত্রাসী-কীলারদের থেকে জনসাধারণের জান-মালের নিরাপত্তা দেয়ার সদিচ্ছা ও শক্তি রাখে না - সে দেশে মানুষ আত্ম-রক্ষার্থে আইন হাতে তুলে নিলে তাকে অপরাধ বললেও অন্যায় বলব কিভাবে ? দেশের যে অবস্থা তাতে এক বাংলাভাই দমন করলে আরো অনেক বাংলাভাই পয়দা হবে। এ সমস্যা সমাধাণের জন্য এক দিকে দেশের লক্ষ লক্ষ যুবকের দেশে-বিদেশে কর্মসংস্থানের ব্যবস্থা করা প্রয়োজন, অপর দিকে চাঁদাবাজীর মাধ্যমে সহজে জীবিকার্জনের অন্যায়-অনৈতিক পথ থেকে সরে আসার জন্য সত্যিকারের ইসলামী ও নৈতিক শিক্ষার বিস্তার আবশ্যক। এটি প্রমাণীত সত্য যে ইসলামী বিশ্বাস ও নৈতিকতা ছাড়া ক্রিমিনালদের সংশোধন করার অন্য কোন উপায় নাই।

হরতাল ও নারী-নেতৃত্ব প্রসঙ্গে

হযরত হাফেজ্জী হুজুর (রঃ) বলেছেন, হরতালের দ্বারা মানুষের হক্কুল-ইবাদ নষ্ট হয় বিধায় হরতাল ডাকা জায়েজ নয়। একারণেই খেলাফত আন্দোলন শুরু থেকে অদ্যাবধি হরতালের রাজনীতির বিরোধীতা করে আসছে।

হযরত নবীকরীম সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহিচ্ছালাম এরশাদ করেছেনঃ- “সেই জাতি কখনো সফলকাম হবে না যার নেতৃত্ব মহিলাদের উপর ন্যাস্ত হয়।” একারণেই হযরত হাফেজ্জী হুজুর (রঃ) আওয়ামী লীগ ও বি.এন.পি.-র দুই নারী নেতৃকেই রাজনীতি ছেড়ে ঘরে পর্দার মধ্যে থাকার আহ্বান জানিয়েছিলেন। আমরাও পূনরায় এই দুই নেতৃকে হযরতের আহ্বান স্মরন করিয়ে দিচ্ছি। কারণ পরকাল বরবাদ করে ইহকালে মাতুব্বরী করা নাদানী ও অদূরদর্শীতা।

এমনেস্টি কর্তৃক মিয়ানমারের মজলুম রোহিঙ্গাদের মৌলিক অধিকার রক্ষার দাবীর প্রতি খেলাফতের সমর্থন

গত মে মাসে এমনেস্টি ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ৩৯ পৃষ্ঠার একটি রিপোর্ট আমাদের কাছে প্রেরণ করেছে। ঐ রিপোর্টে বিস্তৃতভাবে তুলে ধরা হয়েছে, কিভাবে মিয়ানমারের রোহিঙ্গা জাতিগোষ্ঠি মৌলিক অধিকার বঞ্চীত হয়ে মানবেতর জীবন যাপন করছে। আমরা এমনেস্টির এই রিপোর্টকে একটি উত্তম পদক্ষেপ হিসাবে গন্য করি এবং এর সুপারিশ সমূহ বাস্তবায়নের জন্য সংশ্লিষ্ট সকলের প্রতি আহ্বান জানাচ্ছি। আমরা একই সাথে বাংলাদেশের বর্তমান ক্ষমতাসীন সরকারের, বিশেষতঃ এই সরকারের পররাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী মোর্শেদ খানের, রোহীঙ্গা-বিদ্বেষী মনোভাবের নিন্দা জানাচ্ছি।

ভারতীয় বংশোদ্ভুত উর্দ্দুভাষী মুহাজের মুসলমানদেরকে বাংলাদেশের নাগরিক অধিকার প্রদানের আহ্বান

ভারতে ধর্মীয় সাম্প্রদায়িক দাঙ্গায় বাড়ী-ঘর-সহায়-সম্পদ-আত্মীয়-পরিজন হারিয়ে যেসব উর্দ্দুভাষী মুসলমান মুহাজীর পূর্ব বাংলায় (বর্তমানে বাংলাদেশ) আশ্রয় নিয়েছিলেন তাঁরা আমাদের ধর্মীয় ভাই। ১৯৪৭ সনে যদি দেশভাগ না হত, পূর্ব বঙ্গ যদি ভারতের অধীনেই থাকত, তাহলে পূর্ব বঙ্গের মুসলমানদের অনেকেই আজ কাশ্মীরিদের মত ইন্টারনালী ডিসপ্লেসড উদ্বাস্তুতে পরিণত হত। ’৭১ এর ১৬ই ডিসেম্বরের পর বাংলাদেশে বসবাসকারী উর্দ্দুভাষী মুসলমানরা গনহত্যার শিকার হয় - বিনা বিচারে দোষী-নির্দোষী নির্বিশেষে তিন লক্ষাধিক উর্দ্দুভাষী মুসলমান নারী-পুরুষ-শিশু-বৃদ্ধকে নিষ্ঠুরভাবে হত্যা করে বাংলাদেশের স্বাধীণতা সংগ্রামকে কলংকিত করা হয়। তাদের বাড়ী-ঘর-সহায়-সম্পদ দখল করে অবশিষ্টদেরকে রেডক্রসের কনসেন্ট্রেশন ক্যাম্পে ভীত-সন্ত্রস্থ অবস্থায় জড়ো করে জিজ্ঞাসা করা হয় তারা কি পাকিস্তানে যেতে চায় নাকি বাংলাদেশে থাকতে চায়। স্বভাবতঃই তারা প্রাণভয়ে পাকিস্তানে যেতে চেয়েছে এবং পাকিস্তানের ভ্রষ্টাচারী শাসকগোষ্ঠী তাদের পাকিস্তান গমনকে নানাভাবে প্রতিহত করেছে। এমতাবস্থায় এসব মজলুম মানুষ আজ ৩৪ বৎসর যাবত স্টেটলেস অবস্থায় বাংলাদেশে মানবেতর জীবনযাপন করছে। আমাদের জানামতে এদের অধিকাংশই এখন বাংলাদেশের নাগরিক হিসাবে এদেশে স্থায়ী বাসিন্দা হয়ে যেতে ইচ্ছুক। আমরা যতদূর জানি বিগত সরকার এদেরকে বাংলাদেশের নাগরিক হিসাবে এবজর্ভ করে নেয়ার উদ্যোগ গ্রহন করেছিল। বর্তমান সরকার আসার পরে সম্ভবত ঐ ফাইল চাপা পড়ে গেছে। আমরা সরকারের প্রতি আহ্বান জানাচ্ছি, যথাশীঘ্র সম্ভব বাংলাদেশে বসবাসকারী উর্দ্দুভাষী মুসলমানদেরকে বাংলাদেশের নাগরিক হিসাবে ঘোষণা করে তাদের স্টেটলেস মানবেতর অবস্থার অবসান ঘটান।

দ্রর্বমূল্যের উর্দ্ধগতি, বেকার সমস্যা ও আইনশৃংখলা পরিস্থিতি প্রসঙ্গে

নিত্য প্রয়োজনীয় দ্রব্যের মূল্য নিয়ন্ত্রনে রাখার জন্য সদিচ্ছার সাথে বাণিজ্য ও স্বরাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয় যৌথভাবে কাজ করা উচিৎ বলে আমরা মনে করি। ডি.জি.এফ.আই. এর সহায়তায় মজুতদারদের সঠিক লিস্ট তৈরী করে দর নিয়ন্ত্রণের চেষ্টা উচিৎ। বড় বড় ইম্পোর্টার, আড়তদার, উৎপাদকদের কেউ রাজনৈতিক উদ্দেশ্যে নিত্য প্রয়োজনীয় মালামাল, কৃষি বীজ/ সার ইত্যাদী আটকে রাখছে কিনা বা বাজারজাতে গোপন অন্তরায় সৃষ্টি করছে কিনা - তা মনিটরিং করা উচিৎ। হাওয়াভবনের কেউ বা সরকারের কোন মন্ত্রী-প্রতিমšত্রী-সাংসদ বা আমলা যদি এসব অপরাধের সাথে জড়িত থাকে তবে তার বিরুদ্ধে শাস্তিমূলক ব্যাবস্থা গ্রহনে অনীহা করলে সরকারের অস্তিত্ব বিপন্ন হওয়া অসম্ভব নয়।

লক্ষ লক্ষ কর্মক্ষম পুরুষের বেকারত্ব এবং আল্লাহর উপর ভরসার অভাব দেশের আইনশৃংখলা পরিস্থিতির অবনতির অন্যতম কারণ। ঈমান ও ইসলামী নৈতিকতার বিস্তার এবং ব্যাপক কর্মসংস্থান সৃষ্টির জন্য সরকার আল্লাহর উপর ভরসা করে আন্তরিক উদ্যোগ গ্রহন করলে আল্লাহপাক মদদ করবেন বলে আমরা আশা করি।

সংবিধানের ৪র্থ সংশোধনী প্রসঙ্গে

সংবিধানের ৪র্থ সংশোধনীর মাধ্যমে প্রেসিডেন্ট ও প্রধাণমন্ত্রীর ছবি স্থাপন ও সংরক্ষনের যে সাংবিধানিক বাধ্য-বাধকতা সৃষ্টি করা হয়েছে তা ইসলাম সম্মত নয়। ভক্তি প্রদর্শনার্থে ব্যক্তি বিশেষের ছবি স্থাপন ও সংরক্ষণ ইসলামী শরীয়তে না-জায়েজ। এর বাড়া-বাড়ি শির্ক পর্যায়ের কঠিন গোনাহের পর্যায়ভুক্ত। জোট সরকারের শরিক দলের আলেম-ওলামারা বিষয়টি সাফ করলে ভাল হয়।

রাষ্ট্রীয় অর্থ পাপ পথে ব্যায় বন্ধ করে অসহায়দের পূনর্বাসন, চিকিৎসা ও ইসলামী শিক্ষা বিস্তারে ব্যায় করুন

আমরা লক্ষ্য করছি অতীতের সরকারগুলির মত এই সরকারও জিয়াউর রহমানের মাজার নির্মান সহ বহু পাপ পথে অর্থ অপব্যায় করছেন। অথচ দেশে বহু পরিবার গৃহহীন দারীদ্র পিড়ীত, চিকিৎসা বঞ্চীত। বহু নারী বিবাহের সুযোগ বঞ্চীতা, স্বামী পরিত্যাক্তা, বিধবা বা অভিভাবকহীন অসহায়। বহু ছোট ছোট ছেলে মেয়ে এতীম, অভিভাবকহীন, দরীদ্র অসহায়। বহু লোক পঙ্গু, অন্ধ, বিকলাঙ্গ, চলৎশক্তিহীন বৃদ্ধ। এসব অসহায় মানুষদের দেখ-ভালের দ্বায়িত্ব রাষ্ট্র ও স্বচ্ছলদের। আমরা সরকারের প্রতি আহ্বান জানাচ্ছি, অসহায়দের পূনর্বাসন ও চিকিৎসা, এবং প্রতিটি মহল্লায় ক্বোরআন শিক্ষার মক্তব প্রতিষ্ঠায় অর্থ ব্যায় করুন এবং অন্যদেরকে ব্যায় করতে অনুপ্রানীত করুন।

আমরা মনে করি বর্তমানের জটিল আন্তর্জাতিক পরিস্থিতিতে সরকারকে ভিতরে বাইরে বিপদগ্রস্থ করলে আমাদের জাতি ও ধর্মের দুষমনরাই লাভবান হবে। তবে ক্ষমতাসীন সরকারের প্রধাণমন্ত্রী ও তার পরিজনরা যদি আত্ম-সমালোচনা ও আত্মসংশোধনে উদ্যোগী হওয়ার পরিবর্তে অহংকার, উপেক্ষা ও জেদের পথ অনুসরন করেন - তবে অচিরেই তাদের পরিণতি খারাব থেকে খারাবের দিকে যেতে পারে।

নবী (সঃ) নিষ্পাপ হওয়া সত্বেও দিনে ৭০ বারের বেশী তওবা এস্তেগফার পড়তেন। হযরত হাফেজ্জী হুজুর (রঃ) আল্লাহর অলী এবং বুজুর্গ হওয়া সত্বেও দৈনিক ৫০০ বার তওবা এস্তেগফার পড়তেন এবং তাঁর অনুসারীদেরকেও তা পড়তে নির্দেশ দিয়ে গেছেন। তাই আমরা সরকারী নেতৃবৃন্দ সহ সকলের প্রতি আহ্বান জানাচ্ছি, আসুন আমরা দৈনিকই আল্লাহর কাছে তওবা এস্তেগফার পড়ে কান্নাকাটি করি, গোনাহ-খতার জন্য ক্ষমাভিক্ষা চাই এবং জাহেলিয়াত থেকে মুক্ত হয়ে নেক পথে চলার জন্য আল্লাহপাকের মদদ ভিক্ষা চাই।

আজকের এই সাংবাদিক সম্মেলনে যেসব সাংবাদিক ভাই ধৈর্য সহকারে দীর্ঘক্ষণ আমাদের বক্তব্য শ্রবন করেছেন, আমরা তাদের শুকরিয়া আদায় করছি। আল্লাহপাক আমাদের সকলকে জিল্লতির হাত থেকে রক্ষা করুন এবং ইহকাল ও পরকালে সফলতা দান করুন। আমীন।

Press Conference of Bangladesh Khelafat Andolon

CHEIF OF KHELAFAT CALLS FOR NATIONAL REPENTANCE AND RETURN TO THE PATH OF ALLAH

A pre-scheduled Press Conference of Bangladesh Khelafat Andolon (BKA) was held today in Dhaka at a restaurant near Bangladesh National Press Club. It was attended by Khelafat leaders and 42 journalists from local and foreign press and broadcasters.

Quari Shah Ahmadullah Ashraf, tThe Chief of Bangladesh Khelafat  Andolon, recited from the Holy Quran to inaugurate the Press Conference.

A written statement of Ameer-e-Shariah Quari Shah Ahmadullah Ashraf was read out by Secretary-General Maulana Muhammad Zafrullah Khan.

Ameer-e-Shariah said that the absence of Islamic Rule and Khelafat system of Government is the root cause of all sufferings of the nation. He said that usury, bribery, corruption, lawlessness are flourishing from the top to the bottom of the Government. The Prime Minister herself admitted, “Even if I myself issue a written order, you can not get your work done unless you pay bribe”.

Khelafat Chief commented that the whole nation of Bangladesh today is hostage in the hands of governmental and non-governmental terrorists. He asserted that there is no rule of law in the country since Prime Minister herself is violating the constitution and law and instigating her party activists to bring out “Lathi-Procession” (i.e. precisionists armed with sticks) to threaten the judges.

He described in details how the ruling government is promoting and patronizing campaign against Islamic values, Islamic institutions, Islamic clergies and Islamic Madrasa students. He remarked that the ruling government of Bangladesh has been acting as instrument of foreign enemies of Islam and promoting fornication by putting male and female in same work places. He said, while it is the responsibility of the authorities to help improving love and cooperation between husband and wife, the authorities and the NGOs are instigating wives against their husbands to destroy Muslim family system and replace if by sinful corrupt live-together culture.

Following the call of his late noble father Hazrat Hafezzi Huzur (R.A.), the Khelafat Chief Shah Ahmadullah Ashraf reiterated the call for national repentance and return to the Path of Allah to be successful in this world and in the Hereafter.

He  termed the Muslims as “Religious Brothers” and non-Muslims as kin since the origin of mankind is a single family of Hazrat Adam and Hazrat Hawa @Eve (Blessings of Allah be upon them). He also said that the door of Khelafat Andolon is open to all irrespective of Muslims or non-Muslims whoever wants to live in peace and in security of life-honor-property under Islamic Khelafat system. He asserted that Islam is a rational, spiritual and materially balanced code of life which promotes love, cooperation, human rights, reconciliation and peaceful co-existence.

He claimed that the righteous Islamic Clergy and Madrasa students are highly helpful force for bringing peace to the society. The righteous Islamic Clergies never nurtures the criminals, rather they correct the criminals.

He said, he feels proud when someone calls him ‘Fundamentalist’, because it is a recognition that he is sticking to the fundamentals of Islam. He questioned, what type of freedom and democracy it is where the pro-Americans, pro-Indians, pro-Russians, pro-Chinese enjoy the freedom to remain active in politics, but the Islamic Fundamentalists and pro-Taleban are called to withdraw from politics? He termed the Talebans as patriot and lovers of Islam & independence and true representative of the oppressed poor “Mustadafins”. He asserted that so long freedom of expression exists, the Islamic clergies do not consider it appropriate to resort to armed Jihad.

He strongly expressed his support to Osama Bin Laden and called him a pious Muslim and great Islamic hero of this age. He turned down American allegation that Osama is a terrorist.

Khelafat Chief called all concerned for national reconciliation and unity and desist from harmful acts of dividing the nation calling someone “pro-liberation” and others “anti-liberation” after 30 years of independence of the country. He stressed the need for expanding defence system of the nation and proposed a new defence policy with following salient feature:

(a)    Creation of Reserve Force;

(b)   Creation of People’s Army with students and young people of the nation;

(c)    Expansion of Islamic Madrasa education and recruitment of madrasa graduates for the military;

(d)   Research and Production of military weapons & ammunitions in quantities to be able to earn foreign exchange by exporting surplus.

He said that female leadership, Hartal, making and burning effigy, using starvation as instrument of protest, making statues, etc., are not permitted in Islam. He called the Prime Minister and the Government to demolish all statues including those of Late Bongobandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He advised that prayers and alms-giving should be practiced for the good of the departed souls. He also suggested that Masjid could be built in the name of Bongobandhu to commemorate him.


Khelafat Chief elaborated following 3 types of homeless inhabitants of Bangladesh and called for their proper rehabilitation with full dignity and rights:-

(a)    Those who have become homeless and landless due to river erosion or poverty

(b)   Urdu-speaking Muslim inhabitants of Bangladesh who have been deprived of their rights and properties since 1971-72 - who are the true victims of religious communalism in India and linguistic communalism in Bangladesh.

(c)    Muslim Rohingya Refugees from Arakan.

He called for open support to the liberation of Arakan and asked the government to release all 41 supporters Arakan liberation struggle who have been sentenced to life imprisonment on false charges.

He asked the government to stop misusing and ill-spending of state fund for corrupt cultures, professional sports, statue making and such other sinful activities. He advised the government to divert the state fund to social welfare and defence spending. He remarked that all rulers of Bangladesh past and present have been acting as the instruments in the hands of foreign enemies of Islam and Bangladesh. He pointed out that the conspiracies of those foreign enemies of Islam-Bangladesh-humanity may be precisely described as follows:-

(a)    To destroy the Islamic enthusiasm and power of the Muslim masses;

(b)   To ridicule Islamic values & culture, and shrink Islamic education;

(c)    To acquire control over the Chittagong region of Bangladesh for geo-political and economic agenda;

(d)   To acquire control over the mineral resources of Bangladesh.

Ameer-e-Shariah Shah Ahmadullah Ashraf called for re-organization of Agricultural and Industrial sectors of the country. He maintained, unless the purchasing power of the 80% population dependent on farming is increased considerably, industrialization will fail. Industrialization can not be successful depending solely on foreign market. If the purchasing power of the farmers grow, domestic demand for industrial products will go up and then industrialization will be naturally fruitful.

He called for end to the rising trend of inhuman capitalism in the health and education sectors. He rebuked the government for failing to maintain electric supply and control the costs of utilities i.e. electricity and gas.

He explained that the foreigners have planted NGOs as their instruments to interfere into the affairs of the Asian, African and Latin American nations for cooking situation for exploiting those countries economically and politically. They came here in the guise of social workers and got licence as social welfare association. They got registration under strict condition that the organizers shall not use these organizations for direct or indirect financial or political benefits. Now they are gradually stepping into politics under dictates of their foreign masters. He warned that if the government fails to control them, people themselves will be obliged to wage Jihad to save their country and religion.

The Khelafat Chief called Bangladesh Government, other Muslim governments and the international community to recognize the Taleban  Government and support the independence of Palestine, Kashmir, Chechnya, Moro-Mindanao and Arakan.

While concluding he remarked Divine Teachings that Mercy of Allah surpasses His Wrath. Therefore he called all to repent and beg Allah’s Mercy and re-start new life in the Way of Allah.

Q(Reuters):  You said, you support Osama Bin Laden. Now, if he calls you to cooperate with his program, what will you do?

A(SAA): We agree with his principles and outlook. But we have no scope to cooperate with him other than to pray to Allah for him.

Q(Reuters): Do you have contact with him – direct or indirect?

A(SAA): No. We do not have contact with anyone who has contact with him.

Q(a journalist): Do you want the fall of the ruling government of Bangladesh?

A(SAA): We want the fall of the existing system, not only the ruling government.

Q(a journalist):  If you want to establish any new system then you need to become ruler of the country. What are you doing to acquire  governmental power?

A(SAA): We are struggling politically. We are calling people to support us.

Q(a journalist): Will you make any new Islamic coalition or join any existing coalition for next election?

A(SAA): Those who are active in politics in the name of Islam are not the only Islamic parties. Whoever believes in Allah and His Prophets and Islamic. Therefore, we prefer to call the people to come forward to establish Vicegerency of Allah in this world. We call for poeple’s cooperation.

Q(a journalist): You said you are calling all those who believe in Allahh and His Prophets. Jamat-i-Islami also believes in Allah and His Prophets. They why don’t you want to accept their cooperation?

A(SAA): If Jamaat frees itself from conspiracies and comes forward in the righteous straight way we can accept their cooperation.

Q(a journalist): Pir Saheb of Chormonai says that Jamat is not an Islamic party. What is your comment?

A(SAA): I am not aware of the motives of Chormonai Pir Saheb. Jamat claims to believe in democracy. We see parties and governments interpreting democracy in confusing and self-contradictory ways. We think, the so-called democracy is cheating business. We want change in the system.
